Godrej Jersey’s ₹20 Badam Milk Makes Flavoured Dairy More Accessible

By DairyNews7x7•Published on January 03, 2026

Godrej Jersey has launched a new 110 ml Badam Milk SKU priced at ₹20, making India’s traditional and much-loved flavoured milk drink more affordable and widely accessible to families and school-going children across the country. This marks a significant price disruption in the flavoured milk segment, where entry-level SKUs have typically started at around ₹30 and above.

Badam Milk has deep cultural resonance in India as a nourishing beverage associated with comfort, energy and nutrition, especially for growing children. By reducing the entry price point by ₹10, Godrej Jersey aims to integrate this nutritious dairy format into everyday consumption routines, encouraging habitual intake of calcium, protein and sustained energy-giving milk, particularly among younger consumers who can now purchase it with their pocket money.

Insights from the Godrej Jersey India Lactograph FY25–26 show that 53 % of households already prefer flavoured milk formats, reflecting a broader shift in dairy consumption toward taste-led and convenient dairy options. The new ₹20 SKU is strategically designed to capitalise on this trend, combining taste, affordability and nutrition to expand household penetration and drive category growth.

Godrej Jersey has already achieved early distribution traction, with the ₹20 Badam Milk SKU reaching approximately 15,000 retail outlets within its first 75 days of launch in traditional trade channels — a distribution base that is expected to grow rapidly as the brand scales availability nationwide.
